For those of you running 3-inch wide racing belts/driver restraints in your street-driven classic car or truck: If you've been hassled by law enforcement or fined for not having DOT-approved seat belts in your street-driven vehicle, but would prefer to keep your racing belts, I can offer either re-web/SFI re-certification service or new belts with both the SFI tags, as well as a DOT-approved tag, so if you also drive your car on the highways, you are DOT compliant.
I just had a custom set of cam-lock 4-point belts made with both the SFI and DOT tags (see photos). The re-webbing/re-certification service with the DOT tag is about $55/lift latch set (plus shipping and tax in California), varying a little for restraint configuration (cam lock, 6-point, 5-point, etc.). I will happily accommodate most all mounting configurations, including combinations of wrap-around, snap-in and bolt-in.
