January/February 2012: Happy New Year!
Vincent and crew have been busy over the holiday season to get the funny car ready to make some passes in the
new year. A new bullet with an Ohio Crankshaft forged crank is being prepped. Locating Pontiac blocks has been
the main challenge this Winter. Also, Vincent has been working with Williams Performance to design and
produce a new Pontiac valve cover with an integrated gasket lip for boosted applications. Stay tuned for more.
November/December 2011: Happy Holidays!
The funny car was put on display and started up at the Troop 309 Boy Scout troop's second annual charity car
show fund raiser event. Click here for a video of the start up.
September/October 2011:
Preparations continue on the funny car - partial vehicle lettering applied. The team is targeting the Pontiac Buick
Oldsmobile event in November.
July/August 2011:
Vincent is preparing the funny car body for some shake down runs soon. (click on the thumbnails for a larger view)
May/June 2011:
The funny car body is back from the body shop with repairs complete and a new coat of paint.
March/April 2011:
Vincent ran the fuel altered at the Pontiac Heaven event (April 2-3) in Phoenix, AZ. The car ran three consecutive
passes in the 7.0 ETs with the fourth pass at 6.99 ET - 199.29 MPH, taking low ET honors of the weekend! The
Taylor-Mayeda AA/FA is one of the fastest and quickest factory Pontiac block and nodular crank drag cars in
